About
Emily Buckley was born in Manchester, and holds a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Lancaster University, and is currently reading for an MA in Creative Writing.
She is the author of several published poems in several international literary journals, most recently ‘Oscar’ in Issue 59 of Red Cedar Review, runner-up of the Flash Literary Journal’s 2020 Fresher’s Writing Competition with ‘She Stood on the Doorstep’, and was twice-shortlisted for the Bridport Poetry Prize for the poem ‘Endometriosis’, a currently unpublished piece from her planned collection.
Presently, Emily works in Marketing and Communications, and spends her free time as a member of a trampolining team, crafting, and attempting to organise her ever-growing collection of books.
